Sweatshirt

As I pulled my Southern sweatshirt out of my "winter clothes" box this morning, a thought occurred to me...
This is the first fall I've experienced in 5 years!
Sure, they have fall in Tennessee.
But nothing compares to a real New England autumn.
The crisp Northern air.
Vermont's Green Mountains and New York's Adirondacks turning into a brilliant painting.
Fields turning gold as crops mature and ready for harvest.
Ah yes, I'm ready to experience Vermont's seasons again.
Bring it on! =)

Late Laughter

I should be in bed...actually I should have been in bed long LONG ago haha
But I had to share this before heading off to dreamland.
A little laugh to brighten your day or night =)

This was an actual radio conversation released by the Chief of Naval Operations, October, 10, 1995.

#2: Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.
#1: This is the Captain of a US Navy shop. I say again, divert YOUR course.
#2: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.
#1: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER ENTERPRISE, WE ARE A LARGE WARSHIP OF THE US NAVY. DIVERT YOUR COURSE NOW!
#2: This is a lighthouse. Your call.
