Peanut likes Momma's baby belly

My Baking Time:

11 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

Want to know something really really cool?! I can breath under water!!! I'm breathing and helping my lungs develop. Told you it was cool. ;-D My ears are starting to move to their proper place.

How Big Am I:

A golf ball or a donut hole.

from Google

My stats:

1.61 inches from crown to rump and 0.25 ounces

What is Happening On the Farm:

Keeping pipes from freezing and keeping the animals clean, dry and fed.

Momma and Daddy are thankful for Momma's family and the workers that took on extra chores so that we can go South for Christmas and New Year's!!!

RoadTrip:

We made it safely to Charlotte on Friday, December 22. We attended University City SDA church on Sabbath, December 23, and saw all of our friends.
We brought Vermont maple syrup and Monument Farms' chocolate milk for some of our friends at church - Momma says the car felt a lot lighter with all that milk and syrup gone!

After church we went to the Lake and had lunch with PawPaw and the family.

Momma is soaking up every minute with cousin M - she says that he and I will be good friends.

Christmas Eve Momma and Daddy told Daddy's immediate family about me. MawMaw kinda sorta screamed haha
Christmas Day they told the rest of the family.

Visited with some dear friends while in town - Momma and Daddy wish Vermont wasn't so far away.

The morning we left Cousin Keinan and his cow in Virginia 😍

Momma and I enjoyed the Taco Bell burrito we had for breakfast.

Cousin M!!! 😍

Cow and Leo acquired a new friend from Down Under

Momma and Daddy had a little breakdown on the highway - they are very thankful for AAA that came to get us and the car. It was a quick fix, thankfully.

We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch while the car was getting fixed next door at AAA.

Baby's Ten Week Update

My Baking Time:

10 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

I get a new name this week - fetus. My hands and feet that have until now looked like ducks feet (webby) are separating into distinct fingers and toes! My bones are starting to harden and my kidneys are producing urine. 250,000 neurons are forming in my brain every minute - I'm going to be smart like my daddy!

How Big Am I:

A poker chip or a strawberry.

from Google

My stats:

1.22 inches from crown to rump and 0.14 ounces

What is Happening On the Farm:

Bitter cold. The snow stuck around because of the cold.

Momma and Daddy went to a couple more Christmas programs this week.

Momma went to the chiropractor to get her body all straightened out for our trip South. She also got a massage - that was very relaxing.

Daddy had a bad cold this week so he went to the doctor just in case he had an ear infection. Thankfully it was just a virus and he's feeling much better now.

Happy 91st Birthday to PawPaw Callicott!

RoadTrip:

Momma and Daddy (and of course me too!) left Vermont today to visit Daddy's family in the Carolina's. We will stay over in Virginia tonight with friends and then tomorrow we'll be in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Momma cannot wait to tell everyone about me!!!

Cousin Pia was a donkey in her Christmas play

Making their list and checking it twice - packing and Christmas gift lists that is.

Momma has to get all the vitamins sorted that she will need for the next few weeks down South.

The barn cats want to be a part of the belly picture 😜

Ready to go!

Cracker Barrel is Momma and Daddy's favorite 😍

Baby's Nine Week Update

My Baking Time:

9 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

My pancreas, gallbladder and reproductive organs are forming! My head is about half the length of my entire body...yup, I have a big head. But Momma and Daddy still love me! My fingers are growing longer and starting to form the pads at the end.

How Big Am I:

A grape or a pecon.

from Google

My stats:

0.90 inches from crown to rump and 0.07 ounces

Doctor:

We went to the OB for the first visit this week!
We saw Dr. Lindsay Smith.

Momma had to have some blood work - she's a hard stick so it took the nurse a couple tries to get anything.
Her blood pressure was great as usual, 124/80.

Momma and Daddy got to see me! I am super tiny still but they could make out my head and body at least. 😍

Later... Momma got her test results back - she's healthy!
She also found out for the first time ever that she has type A+ blood (Daddy is O+).
Momma's blood diabetes screening came back negative (again) so she just has to do the Gestational Diabetes test at our 28 week appointment.

Clothes:

Momma has been going through her closet and pulling out the clothes that no longer fit as well. She will put them in a bin for later.

Sleep:

I get Momma up around midnight and 3:30 every morning to potty. Sometimes I let her go back to sleep and sometimes I don't.

Movement:

I'm still too tiny for Momma to feel me

Cravings/Aversions:

No real cravings, more anti-cravings that make deciding what Momma wants to eat difficult.

What is Happening On the Farm:

Bitter cold.

Momma said we finally have a covering of snow, about 4 inches.

This week was not only the Christmas program at the Williston Seventh-Day Adventist church, but it was also the Christmas Hymn-Sing at the Christian Reform Church in New Haven.
Momma loves everything about Christmas so having 2 programs to kick-off the holidays made this week extra special she said.

Uncle Travis had a birthday this week!!!

On our way to first Ob appointment!
