My Baking Time:

15 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

I have hair to help keep me warm, but don't worry Momma, I won't stay a chubacca forever. I'm making faces now!

How Big Am I:

An apple.

from Google

My stats:

3.98 inches from crown to rump and 2.47 ounces

What is Happening On the Farm:

Cousin Sophia had a half-day of school this week so she was able to spend some time on the farm with Momma.

Momma went with her cousins to Christ Memorial Church's ladies breakfast ("Great Awakenings") - good food and a great spiritual thought.

Momma and Gramma Briggs went to a Dairy Discussion meeting at the Kayhart Brothers farm in West Addison. After the meeting, the Kayhart family gave everyone a tour of their new parlor and freestall barn.

This week was Patrick Cook's funeral. His grandson used to work and his great-granddaughter currently works on our farm. They have been good family friends for years. Momma is very thankful for the promise of Heaven  - we know we will see Mr. Cook again. 💚

Baby's Fourteen Week Update

My Baking Time:

14 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

The roof of my mouth has formed and sucking on my thumb is helping my chubby cheeks to develop. Momma and Daddy aren't finding out whether I'm a bull or heifer, so only I know if my prostate is forming or if my ovaries are moving into place...

How Big Am I:

A peach.

from Google

My stats:

3.42 inches from crown to rump and 1.52 ounces

Doctor:

This week at the OB we saw Dr. Julie Wade.
Momma's heart rate: 122/80. 😊

They listened to my heart beat...well, tried. I was being difficult so they had to do a quick ultrasound to find me. Then they listened to my heart beat; Momma teared up. 😍

What is Happening On the Farm:

Peaches the cat likes to watch nature movies too

Baby's Thirteen Week Update

My Baking Time:

13 Weeks.

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

If Momma could see me she'd think I was pretty cute instead of the alien-looking thing I've been... My ears are finally in place instead of down on my neck, and my eyes have moved from the sides of my head to their proper spot. All my essential organs and systems are formed... I started sucking my thumb!

How Big Am I:

A lemon.

My stats:

2.91 inches from crown to rump and 0.81 ounces

Road Trip:

Momma had some round-ligament pain this week. It was so bad sometimes that she couldn't stand. But with soothing baths, a heating pad, an exercise ball, and stretching the pain was manageable.

This was an exciting week for Momma and Daddy - they got to attend the 99th annual American Farm Bureau Federation convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
They sat-in on some interesting meetings, enjoyed the Opry Hotel, and got to be in the same room as Zippy Duvall (the American Farm Bureau Federation's president), Sonny Perdue (the United States Secretary of Agriculture), and the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump!
What a week!

We also headed home to Vermont this week. Vacation was fun but Momma says she'll be happy to be back in her own bed.

Momma got to hear Marji Guyler-Alaniz speak (the FarmHer show on RFD-TV).
