The person who coined the phrase "Don't cry over spilt milk" obviously was not a farmer.
Farmers know the blood, sweat, and tears that went into making that milk.
Farmers know how many long back-breaking hours are spent doing all that they can do to care for their livestock, just to have heartache when one gets sick.
Farmers work hard to get paid next to nothing just to have it all taken away for bills and loans.
Farmers get up and keep going when all they want to do is get a little more sleep.
Farmers spend time analyzing weather reports, crop and land analysis, animal nutrition sheets, and future markets to make decisions just to pray that they made the right ones.
So yes, I will cry over spilt milk - sometimes tears are all we have left.
