Baby's Thirty-Six-Week Update

My Baking Time:

36 Weeks

from BabyCenter.com

What's New:

If I am going to have hair on my birth day, I have it now. My fingernails are fully formed and will probably need a cut soon after birth.

Most of my organ and skeletal system is now completed - I'm even more ready for the outside!

How Big Am I:

A 2 liter of soda, or a power drill.

from Google

My stats:

18.66 inches from crown to heel and 5.78 pounds

(remember, this is a guesstimate Momma got offline)

Doctor:

Momma and I had our 36-week checkup this week. Momma's tummy was measuring slightly ahead last visit (2 weeks ago), so instead of just looking to see what position I am in (head-down 😊 ), they also decided to measure me.

Well, most of the things they measured the computer said I'm at 38 weeks. But my femur (the thigh bone) measured exactly 36 weeks, so the doctor said she's confident that I'm still right on schedule.

The computer also thinks I weigh 6.11 pounds...we'll see if it's right when God tells me it's time to be born. 😉

What is Happening On the Farm:

More hay to be chopped, but we finished and capped the bunker silo too!

Cousin S is finished with school for the Summer, so she is coming on Thursday's again. 😊💚

Happy Father's Day to my daddy! Momma says he's the best. 😍

We had cousins visit from Tennessee this weekend! We had fin showing them around the farm, visiting, and watching old silent movies/looking at slides.

Uncle Pete started round baling some of the first-cut that isn't as nutritious - it will be fed to the young stock for fiber this winter.

This rose bush has been around for almost a century!
